Birds Eye View of Scene
These are my storyboards for the "Opening to a New Thriller Film". Myself and James will try to stick by these storyboards as if there guidelines. When we actually come to filming, we might swap, change, edit, or even film brand new scenes.

We've chosen to do this because if a great idea may "pop-up" while filming, it would be a welcomed addition to our opening, only if it has a purpose. Such as extending the total viewing time, or even a scene which would create a darker atmosphere.

Splendid planning thus far Austen, reflecting research, and specifically understanding of genre and film language.
ReplyDeleteWell done for all your hard work, your blog is a pleasure to read. Your references to texts which inspired your ideas is also important. don't forget some canted or tilt shots, these could be very effective when filming around the hard edges of a square container like building.
